The midfielder has made four first-team appearances for the Blues, and scored his first goal for the club during their 1-1 draw with Watford on Tuesday night.

Tha form has seen Leeds linked with a move for the teenager for some time now, and it seems they have now taken the next step in their attempt to secure a deal.

According to this latest update, the Elland Road club have now made a bid worth £3million, including addons, for Hall, which has now been rejected by Birmingham.

It is thought that Leeds view the midfielder as a player they can develop to become a Premier League talent in the future.

Hall only signed a professional contract with Birmingham earlier this summer, meaning the Championship side are in a strong position to negotiate any offers that do come in for the teenager.

The Verdict

You get the feeling that this could lead to a long couple of weeks at the end of the transfer window for Birmingham.

There is still plenty of time before the market closes for Leeds to improve their bid for Hall, and given how they have conducted their business in the window so far, you imagine they will be able to do that.

That would certainly leave Birmingham with a big decision to make over the future of the midfielder, given the financial boost such a deal could provide them with.

For Hall, the chance of a move to the Premier Leaue will likely be appealing too, meaning there is plenty to think about for all involved here.
