Birmingham City re-sign Greek international attacker Sarri

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from Blues this afternoon.
The 27-year-old joins Birmingham City from Barclays Women’s Super League club Everton where she has spent the last 12 months. She has signed an initial two-year deal at St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park with the option of a further year.
Sarri returns to Birmingham City for a second spell after previously turning out for the club between 2021 and 2022. She made 29 appearances for Blues in all competitions. Sarri was a member of the side that were relegated from the Barclays Women’s Super League at the end of the 2021/2022 season.
The player has spent the last four-and-a-half-years playing Barclays Women’s Super League football and she will now look to help Birmingham City to achieve a long-awaited top flight return.
After signing on with Birmingham City, Sarri said “I’m absolutely delighted to be back. It feels like coming back home.
“I had a great time [at the club previously], met some great people and shared some unbelievable memories too so that played into my decision to come back.”
Sarri is Birmingham City’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
