Birmingham City forward Pennock signs new deal | OneFootball

Birmingham City forward Jade Pennock has signed a new two-year contract with the club ahead of the 2023/2024 season.

FAWSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from the Blues this morning.

Pennock has spent the last two seasons with Birmingham City after joining the club in summer 2021. The player has netted 16 goals in 53 appearances for the Blues in all competitions. Pennock netted 11 goals in 22 appearances in the Barclays Women’s Championship this season, helping her to secure the division’s Player of the Season award.

With Birmingham City targeting another promotion push next season, Pennock has an important role to play and the club have been able to retain her services for two more years.

After signing her new deal, Pennock told BluesTV “It’s amazing. I’m really happy to extend my stay. I knew as soon as I got here that this was somewhere I wanted to be long-term.

“The feel I get from the Club, the fans, but especially my teammates; it’s an environment where I feel like I’ve been thriving and it’s the reason I want to stay.”

Pennock joins Siobhan Wilson, Lucy Thomas and Martha Harris in extending her contract with Birmingham City this summer.
