The defender spoke about the mood after the draw at Bologna

An aggressive display by Udinese away to Bologna nearly earned the team a victory, but Jaka Bijol was quick to look at the positives.

“This performance reminds us that we can win any game and make it hard for any team. Now we have to prepare well for Napoli. The aim is to win in front of our fans, many of whom were in attendance today. They are fantastic. It’s a difficult situation for everyone, but everyone supporting us in this with us and the whole team can feel it.

“All the players understand what position we’re in. We’ve spoken a lot among ourselves in the week and I’m pleased with today’s game. It’s a shame about the result. Our luck has been out this year, but we need to lift our heads and keep it up and continue to play football with confidence.”

As for the new coach, Bijol admitted, “We had to change something and we’re doing that. You can see the coach’s style. We can only improve.”
