Barcelona have announced that Memphis, Eric García and Rey Manaj have all been registered with LaLiga.

The news comes in time for the Blaugrana’s season opener against Real Sociedad on Sunday, which the trio are all now available for selection in.

Via a club statement, Barça confirmed that they were able to register the trio thanks to an agreement with vice-captain Gerard Piqué to ‘significantly lower his salary’.

In the release, the club went on to say that they continue negotiating with Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba to reduce their salaries too and that both are committed to doing so.

As part of cost-cutting measures, they have also received transfer fees for the sale of five first team squad members this summer.
