The summer is over, the season has started and transfer deadline day is here. These are the 10 biggest stories weâre keeping an eye on Friday.
The signing of Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayındır is all but done but thereâs more to do at Old Trafford.
A left-back has been a priority since Luke Shaw got injured and after links with Marc Cucurella and NicolĂĄs Tagliafico, it was Spurs defender Sergio ReguilĂłn who was given permission to travel north for a medical on Thursday.
There is also a need in midfield and the club are pushing to sign Fiorentinaâs Sofyan Amrabat, who starred for Morocco at last yearâs World Cup. Itâs going to be a busy one.
Ansu Fati flew into London on Thursday to complete a shock loan move to Brighton.
Unless thereâs a late hijacking from someone else, the Seagulls will sign the winger for the season to seal one of the most surprising and exciting deals of the entire summer.
Should Fati move, that opens a space for Barcelona to sign João Félix from Atlético de Madrid.
With Paris Saint-Germain pushing to sign Randal Kolo Muani in a deal expected to be worth around âŹ80m, though Eintracht Frankfurt have been holding out for âŹ100m for the French international.
The big question is whether or not this would open the door for a late move for Kylian MbappĂ©. He looks set to remain in the French capital now and has been reintegrated into the squad but Kolo Muaniâs arrival may just prompt a late offer and itâs worth remembering PSG have insisted the forward will not be allowed to leave for free.
Tottenham are eager to add some more trickery to the squad and Brennan Johnson appears to be the top target but there have also been links to Conor Gallagher and Eberechi Eze as the deadline has closed in.
It could be a busy day in north London âŠ
⊠speaking of, much could rely on how many fringe players the top clubs can get off their books.
Tottenham are looking for someone to take Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga, Pierre-Emile HĂžjbjerg and Tanguy Ndombele. Davinson SĂĄnchez could be added to that list and with ReguilĂłn already on his way to Manchester United, a lot of space could be freed up for an extra addition.
Itâs a similar story elsewhere. Manchester United could yet replace Harry Maguire if they can sort out a deal with a buyer â though West Hamâs interest appears to have ended â and Scott McTominay finds himself in a similar position.
Arsenal would surely be keen to bring in another defender but need to shift Rob Holding, CĂ©dric Soares and Nuno Tavares to make space, while they could also do with offers for Albert Sambi Lokonga.
And the Chelsea squad remains bloated and could be one to watch as well.
Outs mean ins and plenty of clubs just need that first domino to fall.
It is not deadline day for Saudi Pro League clubs but the attention of deadline day will surely be attractive if they want to cause another big splash.
Mohamed Salah has been linked with a huge switch to Al-Ittihad, who would reportedly be willing to pay a ÂŁ150m fee for the Egyptian. Surely Liverpool wonât be tempted without a replacement but other big offers will surely be just around the corner?
Chelseaâs signing of Cole Palmer is looking likely to be the Premier Leagueâs biggest deal of the day, with the Blues set to pay Manchester City around ÂŁ45m for the 21-year-old.
The question is whether or not theyâll stop at that point or continue to make more signings.
Fulham are reportedly eyeing Youssouf Fofana from Monaco to potentially replace JoĂŁo Palhinha, who is being targeted by Bayern Munich, who will then allow Ryan Gravenberch to join Liverpool.
We love a merry-go-round.
Speaking of midfields, Matheus Nunesâ move from Wolves to Manchester City should also be completed at some point on Friday.
As one Portuguese arrives at Manchester City, another is set to depart, with Barcelona expected to tie up a deal to sign JoĂŁo Cancelo from the Premier League champions.
An initial loan should become permanent next sumer.
The window doesnât close yet for Womenâs Super League clubs but keep an eye out for more developments as Arsenal are tipped to return with a second âworld recordâ bid for a womenâs goalkeeper after Manchester United rejected an offer last week.
