There has been some good news for Chelsea this week as one key player has been spotted back in group training after injury.

The Blues have struggled again with injuries of late, with both Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson being the latest couple of first team players laid off for a while.

EXCLUSIVE! Enzo Maresca has decided on the striker he wants to sign at Chelsea!!

Madueke is still injured and we are yet to hear anything about him returning yet. But Jackson appears to have given Chelsea a huge boost after getting injured recently.

After doing some gym work and individual grass work of late, Jackson has now rejoined group training with his Chelsea team mates yesterday, as you will see from the image further below.

Jackson returning will give Enzo Maresca and the players a huge boost ahead of their next match against Tottenham a week from today at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have been missing that runner up top and someone who is a presence at least. Jackson may have his flaws and still misses a lot of chances, but just having him on the pitch does make Chelsea more of a threat up top in areas they have been struggling in.

Chelsea fans will be hoping to see some involvement for Jackson against Tottenham in the Premier League next Thursday, but it might be a bit of a push for him to start the game.

I’d expect to see him in the squad if we are lucky and then off the bench to ease him back in. Although Maresca could surprise us all and put him in from the start as we fight for much needed points in the race for Champions League qualification this season.
