Birmingham City are back in cup action this weekend as they travel to take on the current Championship leaders Leicester City.

The Blues earned their place in the fourth round of the competition with a 2-1 win over Hull City in a replay at St. Andrew’s.

Goals from Jay Stansfield and Koji Miyoshi sealed a victory over the Tigers to progress to the fourth round.

Their reward is a trip away to the King Power Stadium, where they will take on an in-form Leicester side.

Tony Mowbray will be hoping his side can pull off a big win, as he looks to continue his positive start to life at the Midlands outfit.

GK: John Ruddy

While some teams may opt to use a secondary goalkeeper in the cup competitions, Birmingham are likely to stick with Ruddy this weekend, as has been Mowbray's preference in recent weeks. A start for Neil Etheridge, though, wouldn't be a complete surprise.

LB: Lee Buchanan

Buchanan has started two of Mowbray’s first three games in charge, and has proven a key figure in the team all season.

Birmingham side for their trip to Leicestershire, which will include the 22-year-old in the side from the start.

Sanderson has been a consistent presence in the side all campaign, missing just one league game, so he is likely to feature against the Foxes.

CB: Kevin Long

Long has been dropped for Krystian Bielik recently, yet given it's the FA Cup, he could be recalled, allowing his teammate to move back into midfield.

RB: Cody Drameh

Ethan Laird returned to training this week, so he could provide competition for a place in the side.

However, Drameh remaining in the starting lineup is the likelier outcome at this stage of Laird’s recovery from injury.

CM: Ivan Sunjic

Sunjic has done well for Birmingham since returning to the club from a loan spell in Germany last year.

The midfielder has cemented himself as a regular starter in the side, and should be in the team on Saturday.

CM: Krystian Bielik

Bielik is one of the first names on the team sheet at St. Andrew’s, and a good performance from him will be key to getting a result against Leicester. He's back in midfield in our team, pushing Jordan James further forwards.

LW: Juninho Bacuna

Mowbray has a lot of decisions to make regarding his attacking options, with a choice between Juninho Bacuna and Siriki Dembele at left-wing the most obvious.

Bacuna scored the decisive goal against Stoke last weekend, which may earn him the nod as Dembele is held back for league matters.

AM: Jordan James

James played in a deeper midfield role in the win over the Potters, but could move back into an advanced role with Bielik returning to the midfield.

RW: Koji Miyoshi

Mowbray is quite a fan of Miyoshi, and has used the Japan international in each of his three games in charge of the club, so a start on Saturday is quite likely.

ST: Jay Stansfield

Stansfield moved back into a central position last weekend, having played out on the right-flank previously.

Another start this weekend is the most logical outcome, with the 21-year-old the team’s top scorer this season.
