Brentford have been in incredible form at home this season, scoring a leading 15 goals at the Gtech Community Stadium. Bryan Mbeumo has been central to that, sitting top for goals at home this campaign with seven, including no blanks, which bodes well for the visit of Bournemouth this weekend. His routes to points are plentiful, with seven big chances scored and five big chances created in this campaign, involved in set pieces including penalties.
Alexander Isak has been in clinical form since returning from injury, scoring goals in consecutive games. He’s played every single minute in this time, sitting top for shots on target with eight, plus he is on penalties. The biggest challenge for Isak this week is the fixture, a trip to in-form Nottingham Forest who have conceded just two goals in their last four games and have clean sheets in consecutive home games. It’s going to take something special from Newcastle United.
Brennan Johnson is one of three Tottenham attackers to make the top 10, which comes as no surprise when you consider the quality of the opposition. Ipswich have conceded the most big chances this season, including 23 in the last four gameweeks. Johnson has six goal involvements this season: four goals and two assists. His minutes have improved in recent weeks, playing the full 90 minutes in all of the last four gameweeks.
Wolves striker Matheus Cunha is among the most-purchased forwards for FPL Gameweek 11, as form and fixtures finally converge for Wolves. Cunha has five goal involvements from the opening 10 gameweeks: four goals and one assist. We also believe that Cunha will be first choice on penalties for Wolves. Opponents Southampton are without a clean sheet on the road this season, conceding eight goals in their last four games.
The trend of Tottenham attackers continues with No.9 Dominic Solanke, who finished last gameweek as the Player of the Week, providing three goal involvements and maximum bonus in the 4-1 win against Aston Villa. Solanke’s underlying numbers demonstrate great promise too, with 20 big chances from eight starts this season. He also ranks fourth for expected goal involvements in this campaign and there’s an outside chance that he could be on penalties.
Nottingham Forest’s Chris Wood has been in incredible scoring form in 2024-25, with eight goals in 10 games. Five of those goals have come in the last four gameweeks. Wood’s underlying numbers suggest that these returns are sustainable, sitting third behind Erling Haaland and Ollie Watkins with 11 big chances, and he’s also third for shots on target with 14. It’s now believed that he’s ahead of Morgan Gibbs-White in the pecking order when it comes to penalties.
Arsenal talisman Bukayo Saka continues to rank highly despite a tricky fixture on paper away at Chelsea. He’s been consistent this season with 10 goal involvements in 10, but has just one goal in three, with an apparent dip in form for the Gunners. Saka registered assists home and away against Chelsea last season. Saka’s routes to points are plentiful being on penalties, plus leading the way for key passes (28) and big chances created (12).
Tottenham captain Son Heung-min completes a trio of attackers ahead of the game against Ipswich. Son has six goal involvements from seven starts this season but has played just 124 minutes of action over the last five gameweeks. Spurs have been very exciting at home, leading the way for goals with 15 and third for big chances with 18. Minutes will be his biggest barrier to points in this game — hope he doesn’t travel in the Europa League this midweek.
Manchester City’s Erling Haaland doesn’t take top spot for another week, and that’s clear to justify with just one goal in the last five gameweeks. His underlying numbers in this time remain impressive, sitting top for shots (22), shots on target (10), big chances (6) and expected goals, plus he’s on penalties. He could see plenty of joy against the high line of Brighton, who will try and attack given that they are the home team.
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah remains in top spot with another home game on offer against an Aston Villa side who have just lost 4-1 to Tottenham. Salah has been the most consistent fantasy performer in this campaign, with 12 goal involvements in 10 appearances. He’s produced six double-digit hauls in this time and continues to hoover up bonus points, with 18. Salah has blanked just once at home this season, against a very good Nottingham Forest side.
