Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola could be subjected to a joke from Bernardo Silva, after the Portugal international found himself a Jack Grealish lookalike this week.

The versatile Manchester City playmaker is currently taking a break from his duties with the Premier League champions to represent his country across their upcoming two international friendlies before the summer’s European Championships.

Amid plenty of light-hearted conversation during his early media duties with the Portuguese national team, Bernardo Silva sat alongside international teammate and Vitória star Jota Silva for a press conference address with the media.

Speaking during the press conference alongside Jota Silva, Bernardo Silva joked that he would be sending a selfie to Jack Grealish and ‘fool’ Pep Guardiola simultaneously through his compatriot’s haircut.

“I’ll send a selfie to Jack (Grealish) and maybe I’ll take Jota (Silva) with me to Manchester to fool (Pep) Guardiola,” Bernardo Silva joked, in reference to the Vitória winger’s haircut that offers an uncanny resemblance to Manchester City’s England international forward.

“Indeed there are similarities, it’s funny,” Bernardo Silva continued to the media in attendance this week. “When the press conference ends, I will send a photo to Jack.”

Jack Grealish is currently continuing his road towards full match fitness during the ongoing international break, having been granted an extended period away from the pitch by both Pep Guardiola and England manager Gareth Southgate.

Grealish sustained back-to-back groin injuries against FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League and Luton Town in the FA Cup fifth round, with the general feeling being that the Englishman returned too soon for the latter contest.

With a hectic run of crucial fixtures on the horizon for Manchester City across all competitions, Pep Guardiola and his coaching staff will almost certainly be calling on Jack Grealish to make a significant impact for the first-team during the business end of the season.
