With Manchester City facing a two-year ban from European football, it would be little surprise to see the Cityzens experience a mass exodus this summer.

One of those players could be Bernardo Silva, who is still only 25 years old and has shone since his €50m move from Monaco in summer 2017.

The Portugal international has been linked with a move to Barcelona in recent days and the City star has since admitted to having a desire to play in LaLiga and with Lionel Messi.

“I play with Cristiano Ronaldo in the national team and to be able to say that I play with two of the best players in history would be a pleasure, but it’s a complicated matter.

“If he wants to come to City, he’s welcome,” Silva said on Catalan radio.

“Maybe so [that his style would fit at Barcelona], but the Premier League is a competition that has always excited me. But it’s true, that one day I would also like to play in Spain.”

With Silva just having signed a new deal until summer 2025 last month, any potential move would require an extraordinary fee.
