Karim Benzema and Robert Lewandowski have lit up the football world in recent times.
Despite both being in their 30s, the two superstar strikers are regularly performing to an insanely high standard.
Last week, they each scored hat-tricks in the Champions League to help Real Madrid and Bayern Munich progress to the quarter-finals of the competition.
Lewandowski also found the back of the net for a 43rd time this season on the weekend in a 1-1 draw against Hertha Berlin, while Benzema scored a brace and recorded an assist in a 3-0 win over Mallorca on Monday.
So, with the two strikers firmly in the limelight right now, we’ve decided to compare their overall career stats with what we believe are the other four best strikers over the past decade or so.
The quartet in question? Harry Kane, Luis Suarez, Sergio Aguero and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

So, what have we learned? Well, in terms of goals or assists per game when club and international outings are combined, Suarez (0.95) just about finishes top of the pile.
Lewandowski (0.93) – the leading scorer of the six – is in second place, with Zlatan (0.84) third and Kane (0.77) fourth.
Benzema (0.74) just about avoids bottom spot, which is occupied by Aguero (0.73).
On the international stage, England captain Kane (0.93) ranks as the most prolific in terms of goals or assists per game, while Suarez (0.95) and Lewandowski (0.95) share top spot in that regard at club level.
