Ramy Bensebaini kicked things off on Friday afternoon for Algeria. In the World Cup qualifying match against Botswana, the North Africans secured a 3-1 (1-0) victory. The Dortmund defender was in the starting eleven and played for the full 90 minutes. After five matchdays, Algeria are at the top of Group G ahead of Mozambique and Guinea.
Gregor Kobel was in the starting eleven of the Swiss national team for their 1-1 (1-1) test match draw against Northern Ireland, and was on the pitch for the whole game.
Jamie Gittens was in France with the English Under-21s. The hosts won the test match in Lorient with a spectacular performance and a final score of 5-3 (3-2). However, the Dortmund winger did not play on Friday evening.
Striker Serhou Guirassy finished off the day with his national team in their World Cup qualifying match against Somalia. Guirassy was in the starting eleven for the match, which ended in a goalless draw.
On Saturday, Kjell Wätjen and Almurega Kabar will be playing for the German Under-19s national team against Finland. Kick-off is at 15:00 CET.
