United have won the race for the talented striker
Manchester United plan to unveil Benjamin Sesko tomorrow ahead of his £73.7million move to Old Trafford.
Sesko, who scored 21 goals for RB Leipzig last season, is set to complete a medical on Friday before being unveiled ahead of United's final pre-season friendly at home to Fiorentina on Saturday afternoon.
Fabrizio Romano reports that the 21-year-old will sign a five-year contract at United.
The Athletic report the deal is worth an initial £66.4m, with a further £7.37m in add-ons. As part of the deal, United will also play a friendly against Leipzig.
Ruben Amorim has been keen to overhaul his attacking options this summer, with Sesko set to spearhead United's attack alongside fellow new arrivals Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
Sesko's arrival looks set to spell the end for Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund, who has struggled for goals since signing for United two years ago for £72m.
Romano reports that Hojlund, who scored four league goals last season, is attracting interest from Serie A giants AC Milan, with the 22-year-old available on loan this summer.
Despite United being open to moving Hojlund on, the former Atalanta man wants to stay and fight for his place at the club.
Hojlund's future at United looks uncertain, though, with Sesko having opted to join Amorim's side over a move to Newcastle United.
Newcastle had identified Sesko as a possible replacement for Alexander Isak, but they now appear to have lost out on another target this summer.
Sesko's move takes United's spending this summer over £190m, while they are also exploring a move for Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba.
