Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League with an emphatic 5-0 victory over Burnley on Saturday.

And after the game, it seems their players celebrated in a pretty bizarre way.

Former Monaco team-mates Benjamin Mendy and Bernardo Silva are known to be the life and soul of City’s dressing room and Mendy, in particular, has a very strong social media presence.

But the video he posted to Twitter after Saturday’s game was crazy even by his standards …

Apparently that’s supposed to be an impersonation of Shakira, but it must be a different Shakira to the one we’re thinking of.

Elsewhere, Mendy had a laugh at somebody who’d taken him out of their fantasy team before the game …

And posted an action shot of himself doing his best impression of WWE superstar Randy Orton.

It’s surely only a matter of time before he changes his name to “Banterman” Mendy by deed poll.
