Benfica coach Jorge Jesus can't see the club re-signing Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic.

Matic, in midweek, declared Jorge Jesus among the best coaches he'd played for and also declared a willingness to play for Benfica again.

But Jorge Jesus said on Friday: "Matic has had excellent seasons at Benfica. He has a profile like few others in the world. 1.90 meters, technical capacity ... he has had excellent seasons and that is why Chelsea signed him.

"Today he is at Manchester United and continues to play. I saw his game against Milan and he is still in great physical and athletic conditions, he has technical quality ... I think it is very difficult for that to happen [return to Benfica], because they are players with contracts that the teams in Portugal have no possibility of matching."
