Ben White arrived back in London on Saturday from his holiday, ahead of his reported medical and announcement with Arsenal in the coming days.

Posting on his Instagram story on Saturday, Calaum Jahraldo shared the above picture of Ben White arriving back in London after his holidays.

Reports from earlier this month suggested White would hold his medical with Arsenal in the week of July 26th following the conclusion of his holiday, and he looks on track for that timeline. The Daily Mail even report he may hold the medical this weekend.

Multiple sources have reported that White will join the Gunners in a £50m deal with no add-ons, but the guaranteed fee will be delivered in structured payments. The initial paperwork has already been signed, and he’s agreed a five-year deal with his new club.

Fabrizio Romano claims White only ever wanted to join Arsenal since initial contact was made weeks ago.

David Ornstein adds that whilst there was interest in White from other suitors, there were no rival offers, as they were all under the impression he was joining the Gunners.

It looks like that’s now going to be confirmed over the coming days. With any luck, the deal will be done in time for White to feature in the squad to face Chelsea next Sunday, August 1st.

In turn, that would give him a real shot at being ready for the opening day of the Premier League season on August 13th.
