Andrea Belotti will soon conclude his loan at Fiorentina.
The striker failed to impress la Viola since joining them in January from Roma and will likely end his time there with only 1 goal to his name.
Belotti’s loan will officially come to an end after Fiorentina face Atalanta for the last match of the Serie A season.
The deal was based on a dry loan with no buy option – Fiorentina are not going to pursue further discussions to extend Belotti’s stay.
On the contrary, reports Corriere dello Sport, the player will make his return to Roma where he will be forced to evaluate options ahead of the summer.
Roma are not expected to rely on him next season, reports the Italian newspaper.
In the meantime, Belotti has received interest from Serie B.
In fact, the player seems to have caught Parma’s attention.
More recently, newly promoted Serie A side Como, led by Cesc Fabregas, made inquiries for him as they seek attacking reinforcements for their first season in Italy’s top flight.
