Jude Bellingham kept his name in the headlines, snatching a late winner for Real Madrid away to Celta Vigo on Friday evening.

While it was an uneventful first half, the game was marred by an injury to Vinícius Júnior, who had to be taken off in the first 20 minutes of the night.

The game exploded to life after the break however, and it looked as if Real Madrid would grab the lead they perhaps deserved when the visitors were awarded a penalty.

It was not to be however, as Rodrygo’s strike from the spot was denied in style by Iván Villar, who was putting on a show in the Celta net.

A visibly frustrated Carlo Ancelotti urged his side on to find a winner, but with a raucous home crowd behind them, Celta remained rock-solid at the back.

It looked for all the world like Celta would hold on for a gutsy draw, but the newest LaLiga sensation, Jude Bellingham, popped up with a headed goal in the final 10 minutes to silence the Estadio de Balaídos and snatch all three points for Real Madrid.
