Real Madrid entertained Alaves at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a positive result at home in La Liga. Los Blancos made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the tenth minute thanks to Jude Bellingham’s effort. Vinicus Jr. doubled his team’s advantage in the 27th minute before Federico Valverde added another goal in the dying embers of the first half. Real Madrid were leading 3-0 at the half-time break.

Vinicius Jr. scored again for Los Blancos in the 70th minute before Arda Guler got his name on the scoresheet just 11 minutes later. The contest ended with Los Blancos earning a dominant 5-0 win in front of their home fans.

LB: Ferland Mendy – 7/10

Mendy didn’t do much wrong at the back but offered very little in the opponent’s half.

Valverde was a constant menace in the final third and did well to score in the first half injury-time.
