Real Madrid locked horns with Girona at the Estadi Montilivi earlier this evening as they focused on collecting all three points on the road. Los Blancos made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 17th minute when Joselu found the back of the net. Aurelien Tchouameni doubled his side’s advantage just four minutes later as Carlo Ancelotti’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.

Jude Bellingham killed the game off in the 71st minute. Nacho was sent off in the dying embers of the game but Real Madrid cruised to an impressive 3-0 victory away from home.

He didn’t put a foot wrong at the back and made two driving runs with the ball.

CM: Federico Valverde – 7/10

Valverde was a positive influence in both halves and was replaced in the 86th minute.

He anchored the midfield with conviction and managed to find the back of the net in the 21st minute.

Kroos was an influential presence at the centre of the park and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
