Belgium make two surprise changes against Brazil

Brazil and Belgium have each made two changes as they face each other in the World Cup quarter-finals.

Belgium have brought Marouane Fellaini and Nacer Chadli into their starting line-up.

The pair scored one goal each as substituted in Belgium’s dramatic 3-2 defeat of Japan on Monday.

Those goals were enough to earn a place in the side for the quarter-final with Dries Mertens and Yannick Carrasco dropping to the bench.

A formation change is now on the cards with a 3-5-2 with more freedom for Kevin De Bruyne now likely. Until now Belgium have lined up in a 3-4-3 formation.

Brazil start as expected with Fernandinho coming in for suspended Casemiro and Marcelo returning to the defence. The left-back takes the place of Filipe Luis.

Gabriel Jesus keeps his place up front ahead of Roberto Firmino.
