Belgian whizkid Romeo Lavia made his Manchester City U21 debut in midweek.

The 16 year-old signing from Vincent Kompany's Anderlecht featured in the U21 EFL Trophy tie with Lincoln City.

Lavia was played in the middle of midfield as a No5, starting the game as normal time finished 1-1.

Lincoln won the subsequent penalty shootout, though Lavia converted his spotkick.

Despite the defeat, City are into the knockout round of the competition.
