Beerschot set to sign Anderlecht striker | OneFootball

Pieter-Jan Calcoen is reporting that Beerschot are set to sign striker Antoine Colassin from Anderlecht. The forward is expected to sign a long term deal and leave Anderlecht after many years at the club, most of which were spent with the second team or out on loan. Beerschot are in desperate need of a forward and clearly see Colassin as the answer to their problems.

The 23-year-old Colassin has been capped at youth level by Belgium but never truly broke into the Anderlecht first team. He leaves having made 16 appearances for the first team, scoring three goals. The striker, who can also operate out wide, also had loan spells with Zulte Waregem and Heerenveen. He played 11 games for the former without scoring, while for the latter he scored three times in 26 games.

Beerschot are yet to win this season, with just one point from their opening five games.
