Sources: Chelsea close in on two massive DONE DEALS this week!

Yesterday, it was finally confirmed that Chelsea and Leipzig were now in club-to-club talks regarding a deal for Simons to head to Stamford Bridge and since then, it’s heated up even more.

And now, an exclusive report via our colleagues at Caught Offside has revealed that Simons has actually now gone as far as agreeing personal terms with Chelsea today with just the fee between the clubs to be agreed on.

Strap in Chelsea fans, could be an interesting and exciting few days with other incoming deals being worked on as well as outgoings.

“Been told very firmly that Xavi Simons wants to join Chelsea.

“I’m told RB Leipzig actually asked about three Chelsea players. I’m not told who the other two are, but they’ve asked about three Chelsea players. It might not be Carney. It might be Carney who ends up going the other way.”

I think this might be the clearest indication yet that the expectation is for this one to get done, especially if Chelsea have now gone as far as agreeing personal terms with the player.

Fee shouldn’t be too bad

I can’t see it being the £60m odd that we keep hearing about, I see it maybe being around £50m at the most with add-ons included in that.

Simons is great, but he’s not quite a plus £60m player yet. I think Chelsea will be smart here and get a reasonably good deal for him.
