Beaconsfield Town, Brentford and Southend United were all victorious in Regional League top-of-the-table clashes.

EASTERN – Southend edge top-of-the-table clash

Premier – Royston Town’s Lily Hall came off the bench to score in a 3-2 and fifth straight victory at Stevenage, Luton Town went second with a 5-0 result at Needham Market. Wroxham matched that scoreline against Cambridge City, Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers’ substitute Anais Winney scored during the 2-1 defeat of St Albans City, Watford Ladies Development won 4-1 at Haringey Borough, while it was one a-piece between Bowers & Pitsea and Enfield Town.

1 North – Sophia Amanor scored all three goals for Harpenden Town as they made it four wins from four with a 3-1 defeat of Newmarket Town. AFC Dunstable defeated Stevenage Devs 4-2 helped by a Gemma Whitchurch hat-trick, Histon were 3-0 winners at Thetford Town. Mulbarton Wanderers edged Biggleswade United 1-0, Real Bedford Res put four past Whittlesey Athletic, Wootton Blue Cross ran out 5-1 victors at Kings Lynn Town.

1 South – Southend United went three points clear when winning the top-two clash with Colney Heath 2-1, both their goals by Hannah Smith. Chelmsford City went third with a 4-1 win at Romford Town Flyers, Hutton just got the better of Toby FC 3-2 thanks partly to a Lucy Critchell double. Stanway Pegasus’ Jade Horne scored four in a 6-2 success at Frontiers, Wormley Rovers hit Lawford for six.

EAST MIDLANDS – Sheffield FC’s Buxton hits 13-minute hat-trick

Premier – Chesterfield Ladies were 3-1 winners at SJR Worksop on Thursday, the hosts then lost by the same score to Anstey Nomads on Sunday. Sheffield FC lead after thrashing Nottingham Trent University 8-0 away, Sadie Smith with a hat-trick and likewise for sub Stacey Buxton in only a 13-minute spell. Rotherham United drew 2-2 with Stamford whose Maisie Thompson was sent off, Mansfield Town scored six at Ilkeston Town.

1 Central – Loughborough Foxes Vixens lead the table following a 5-0 result against Sleaford Town, Asfordby Amateurs got all four goals at Long Eaton United, Beaumont Park beat Brookside Athletic 2-0 away, River City won 3-1 over West Bridgford.

1 North – Three 5-2 outcomes saw Belper Town win at Buxton, Dronfield Town defeat Notts County Devs and Grimsby Borough overcome  Sherwood. Arnold Eagles took the points 2-0 at Chesterfield FC, Gainsborough Trinity edged Grimsby Town as Abigail Murrell scored the sole goal.

1 South – There were four goals by Lola Barrett in Leicester City LFC’s 7-1 beating of Bugbrooke St.Michael, Thrapston Town won 5-0 at Long Buckby, as did New Bradwell St Peter at home to Northampton Town Devs. Newport Pagnell Town drew 1-1 with Wellingborough Town, Dunton & Broughton United versus Cardea also finished one each.

LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Martins’ double sends Dorking top

Premier – Dorking Wanderers’ Sandra Martins got both goals as they went top with victory at Ebbsfleet United, Barking are just goal-difference behind the leaders after a 4-1 win at Newhaven. Saltdean United won 2-1 at Sutton United, Sport London E Benfica came away from Ashford United 4-2 victors.

1 North – Brentford came out on top 2-1 in the clash of the leading pair at Dulwich Hamlet Res, where Chloe Logie was at the double.  Bromley beat AFC Whyteleafe 5-2 in front of a crowd of 168 to go second. Clapton CFC won by the odd goal in five at Denham United, Actonians Res came through 3-1 at Hackney, Leatherhead defeated Richmond & Kew 5-1, while it was all square at 1-1 between Ashmount Leigh and Richmond Park.

1 South – Saltdean United Devs’ 5-2 defeat of Aylesford was their third win in a row, Bognor Regis Town’s 3-1 beating of Bexhill United featured a Millie Carter treble. Welling United won 3-0 against Soccer Elite Academy aided by Kimberley Dixson’s eight-minute double, Montpelier Villa saw off Herne Bay 2-1 and Steyning Town sank Three Bridges 4-1.

NORTH EAST – Seven goals first up for Handsworth’s Abby Watkinson

Premier – Ponteland United are the one side on maximum points after three games but it needed an intervention by substitute Erin Taylor to edge Bradford City 1-0. South Shields’ 3-1 defeat of York Railway Institute included a Sophie Greener double, Sunderland West End’s Isla Maggs got three in the 4-1 result at Hull United, while Wallsend BC won by the same score at Alnwick Town, similarly Chester le Street Town at home to Harrogate Town.

1 North – Wallsend BC Res were held 1-1 by Thornaby despite the second-half dismissal of the visitors’ Ebony Housam, Washington’s Sophie James struck two minutes after coming off the bench in a 2-2 tie with Redcar Town. Two a-piece was also the outcome for Chester le Street United and Hartlepool United, Gateshead beat i2i International Soccer Academy 2-0 and Norton & Stockton Ancients Res netted a 9-1 result over Bishop Auckland .

1 South – Handsworth’s opening game was a 10-1 drubbing of York City Devs in which Abby Watkinson scored seven times, Brunsmeer Athletic also began in dramatic fashion by edging a nine-goal thriller at Sheffield Wednesday. Ossett United have won their first three games after a 4-1 success at Oughtibridge WM, Leeds Modernians won 2-0 at Lower Hopton, Kiveton Park came from behind to win 2-1 over Sheffield United Foundation.

NORTH WEST – Six of the best by Bolton

Premier – Wythenshawe went three points clear at the top with a 5-1 win at FC United of Manchester, Bury were beaten 2-1 at home by Crewe Alexandra after losing Sinead Nugent to two quick cautions. Mancunian Unity won 3-1 at Tranmere Rovers, Salford City drew 1-1 with West Didsbury & Chorlton.

1 North – Bolton Wanderers made it six straight wins as Milla Hodson struck twice for a 3-1 victory at Preston North End, Workington Town came from behind for a 3-1 win at Radcliffe. Haslingden hit hosts Hindley 7-1, Penrith’s 8-1 result against Fleetwood Town Wrens Res saw Abbie Forster score three times.

1 South – Poulton Vics have six wins from six after a 3-0 result at Runcorn Linnets, FC St. Helens went second but only just beat lowly Litherland REMYCA by three goals to two. Mossley Hill Athletic shared six goals with Wirral Phoenix, for whom Rebecca Tebb claimed a brace and Evie Jowett a goal three minutes after being subbed on. MSB Woolton’s Katie Thomas sealed a 2-0 win at Macclesfield FC by scoring five minutes after entering play at half time.

SOUTHERN – Woodley’s Lawrence floors Flyers at the death

Premier – Woodley United won 2-1 over Winchester City Flyers with a second from Sarah Lawrence in added time, Oxford City scored five without reply at Reading and AFC Portchester all four goals at Badshot Lea. Wycombe Wanderers drew 2-2 with Ascot United, Sholing were 2-0 winners at Selsey ahead of visiting Hampshire League side Hythe & Dibden on Thursday for a Southampton DFA Cup tie.

1 North – Beaconsfield Town beat Abingdon United Devs 3-0 in a meeting of the leading pair, Ascot United Res won 5-3 against Wycombe Wanderers U-23s helped by a first-half Sarah Jones treble. Tilehurst Panthers sub Lydia Vettese was twice on target for a 3-0 win at Caversham United, Slough Town went one better at Chesham United Devs, Kidlington won a goalfest with Milton United 8-3.

1 South – Havant & Waterlooville stormed to an 11-0 victory over QK Southampton, Sophie Lee with a hat-trick and the visitors Megan Moran shown a red card. AFC Stoneham hit Abbey Rangers for six, Bournemouth Sports Res beat Woking with two unanswered goals, Bursledon were held 1-1 by Wimborne Town after Zoe Bache’s effort was replied to by Ellie Chaffe.

SOUTH WEST – Forest Green win at the New Lawn

Premier – Forest Green Rovers beat AEK BOCO 4-1 at the New Lawn on Saturday evening, for a third win from three. Sherborne Town and Marine Academy Plymouth tied 2-2, Ilminster Town pipped Poole Town 3-2, Bishops Lydeard and Pucklechurch Sports finished one each, Torquay United sank Frampton Rangers 7-0.

1 North – Purton’s Kacie Anderson got a stoppage-time decider at Corsham Town, Bitton also beat Cirencester Town by a single goal, Bath City were 3-2 winners at Paulton Rovers. Gloucester City won 4-1 at Stockwood Wanderers, St Vallier were held 3-3 by SGS Olveston United whose Rosanna Blacker found the net twice, Royal Wootton Bassett Town stuck six past Downend Flyers.

1 South – Helston Athletic defeated Yeovil Town 3-1, Plympton’s Isabelle Firth got the only goal at Honiton Town, Saltash United beat Feniton 2-0 and Weymouth won 5-2 at Sticker.

WEST MIDLANDS – Ten-player Halesowen hold on for victory

Premier – There were third wins in a row for Lye Town (7-2 v Leek Town) and Shifnal Town (3-1 at Alvechurch), Kidderminster Harriers were a second side to post a 7-2 victory, Mia Badland contributing a hat-trick at Knowle. Coundon Court beat Shrewsbury Town 2-1, Burton Albion’s match with Port Vale was abandoned after a serious injury suffered by Vale’s Mani Delle.

1 North – There was a 4-4 draw for AFC Telford United and Hednesford Town, Walsall Wood won 4-2 at Rugby Town, Walsall FC sent  Newcastle Town to a 4-0 defeat, while Eccleshall’s 2-1 victory at Tamworth came after Kiera Willdigg’s 80th-minute goal.

1 South – Halesowen Town defeated Droitwich Spa 2-1 with a Kirsty Spencer double but despite a red card for sub Chelsea Mudge. Redditch Borough’s Kathryn Pagan scored four of their six at Crusaders, Solihull Moors Foundation won 2-0 at Worcester City Res, Bromsgrove Sporting drew 1-1 with Redditch United.
