Chelsea are looking to move at least five players out the door during the January transfer window which now opens in just two days time!

We will see the New Year in this Wednesday, and for football fans, what that means is that their beloved clubs can start buying and selling players again for a short period in the month of January as the winter window opens up.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea looking at 5/6 positions to sign new players in!

We are consistently told not to expect a busy month at Chelsea, with only really outgoings being something that is on the agenda at the club. I guess there could always be some surprises that do spark up, and I believe Chelsea will still keep an eye on any opportunities in the market, but I think we will mainly just see some outgoings at the club next month.

So who will leave?

Well, The BBC have an article out this week explaining that Chelsea are looking to push five players out the door, but not all on a permanent deal.

Five to go?

Chukwuemeka could leave soon

The report states Chelsea have a host of potential exits to come in January, including the likes of Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka and Cesare Casadei.

The club are apparently demanding Chukwuemeka’s full £40million release clause, but they could look to send him out on loan instead.

Chelsea are not actively looking to sell Casadei, with a loan move looking more likely. Feyenoord and Monza are both interested.

Harvey Vale is another set to leave the club on a permanent deal with less than six months left on his current contract.

Alex Matos could also leave on a permanent deal.

But the report does conclude that Chelsea are currently not actively pushing to loan or sell further first team players, including Omari Kellyman and Marc Guiu, at the early stages of the January window.
