Axel Disasi had offers from multiple English clubs but opted against making a move to any of those sides according to reports.
The Blues spent all summer trying to move Disasi on, but were unable to agree a move for the Frenchman despite clubs being interested.
Chelsea aren’t necessarily stuck with Disasi until January as transfer windows in Saudi Arabia and Turkey remain open, but it’s unclear if a move to either of those leagues will materialise.
Disasi, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa has been training away from the first team at Cobham in the now infamous “bomb squad.”
Quite why a move away failed to materialise is unclear, but it’s believed Saudi side Neom are going to make another approach for Disasi.

There was Premier League interest in the Frenchman, with Bournemouth said to have held talks with Disasi, whilst Wolves were another club thought to be interested.
Disasi’s former side Monaco are believed to have explored a loan deal, but Nicolas Jackson’s move to Bayern Munich took up Chelsea’s last international loan spot.
Chelsea will now hope a solution can be found as Disasi playing no football until January doesn’t suit any parties, but BBC Sport have reported he opted against joining any of the interested clubs.
The report adds moves to West Ham and Bournemouth failed to materialise despite there being no limit on loans within England.
Disasi wasn’t the only player Chelsea were unable to find a solution for on deadline day, with Raheem Sterling also falling into that category.
