Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has been voted by readers as the BBC Sport Player of the Season.
Henderson wins the award with 23% of the vote, beating team-mate Sadio Mané (17%) and Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne (14%).
Of course, the season isn’t over yet, but Liverpool are currently 25 points clear at the top of the Premier League and need just two more wins to seal their first league title in 30 years.
Henderson has three goals and five assists so far – the 29-year-old’s best return in terms of goal involvements since 2014/15.
Meanwhile, BBC Sport readers also voted Arsenal’s Vivianne Miedema the Women’s Super League Player of the Season.
Miedema won with 21% of the vote, with Chelsea’s Bethany England (19%) and Arsenal’s Danielle van de Donk (15%) coming in second and third.
