Another weekend, another batch of Bundesliga fixtures with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund both in action.

Bayern win seven-goal thriller in Berlin

Scorers: Gießelmann 43′, Ryerson 65′; Lewandowski (pen) 15′, 25, Sané 35′, Coman 61′, Müller 79′

Bayern were ahead after 15 minutes when Robert Lewandowski converted from the penalty spot, before adding his second shortly after from a well-worked set piece.

Leroy Sané made it three after ghosting in unmarked at the back post, with Union giving themselves hope when Niko Gießelmann’s fierce strike beat Manuel Neuer.

Kingsley Coman added a fourth with another rasping effort, before the hosts managed to score another when Julian Ryerson finished a smart cutback from close range.

Thomas Müller secured all three points late on with another impressive finish.

Dortmund earn routine home win

Scorers: Hazard 40′, Tigges 64′

Despite some difficult defensive moments, Dortmund found themselves ahead at half time when Thorgan Hazard headed in Jude Bellingham’s pinpoint cross.

BVB doubled their lead in the second half when Steffen Tigges rose highest to head home and secure all three points.
