Bayern Munich are reportedly unwilling to meet Marc Roca’s release clause of €40m and will instead only go up to €30m for the centre-back.
Roca has become a vital cog in the Espanyol machine over the past few seasons and starred for Spain’s under-21 at the European Championships this summer.
His club side Espanyol are, according to Marca, aware of the interest from several clubs but will only let the defender leave if his release clause is met.
Bayern meanwhile are keen on signing the youngster but are not going to consider paying that kind of money for Roca.
Instead, they will make an official offer of €30m this week in a bid to test Espanyol’s resolve.
