Bayern reportedly land Portuguese teenage phenom Tiago Dantas

Bayern Munich have reportedly pulled off a last-second transfer coup by landing Portuguese sensation Tiago Dantas on a year-long loan.

According to Portuguese journalist Bruno Andrade, Bayern can purchase the 19-year-old at the end of the season for just €8m.

Despite featuring just once for Benfica’s first team, Andrade claims that the player would immediately join Hansi Flick and the Bayern Munich first-team squad.

However, there are conflicting reports out of Portugal as TVI 24 state that a deal for ‘the new Thiago Alcântara’ has been completed, though there is no option-to-buy.

As of the time of this article, which is several hours after the transfer deadline has passed, there has not been an official announcement.
