We’re counting down the list of Bayern Munich’s 10 greatest jerseys of all time.

Today we’ve chosen this one as number eight on the list …

This kit took pride and place as Bayern’s home jersey for two seasons from 2007 to 2009.

Bayern know how to pull off a good striped shirt and that’s evident in this thing of beauty.

The 2007/08 season did prove to be a successful season for the club as they won the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal double, while also making it to the UEFA Cup semi-finals.

The same season that Kevin Davies scored a late equaliser at the Allianz in a 2-2 draw for Bolton Wanderers. Historic.

It gives us an excuse to enjoy some of Luca Toni’s goals for the club, who scored 39 goals during that campaign.
