Robert Lewandowski got the only goal of the game when he volleyed in shortly before half-time following a sublime Jérôme Boateng pass.

Having gone down to 10 men for the closing stages after an Alphonso Davies dismissal, a phenomenal last gasp save from Manuel Neuer to deny Yuya Osako secured the win – and the title.

Under Flick, Bayern have recaptured top form and their incredible run meant the title was a formality heading into the final weeks of the season.

Bayern could still win the treble, with the DFB Pokal final and the latter stages of the Champions League still to come.
