Jorginho aware of 'difficult' Bayern Munich challenge as Flamengo advance
Bayern Munich will face PSG in the quarter-final of the Club World Cup after the German side eased past Flamengo in Miami.
Bayern started well against the Brazilian giants, with early pressure paying off as Erick Pulgar headed into his own net, and they were 2-0 up less than five minutes later as Harry Kane rifled in a long-distance effort.
Flamengo briefly threatened as Bayern let their guard down, with Gerson cutting the deficit with an emphatic finish, though the Bavarians regained their control before Leon Goretzka swept in a great finish to make it 3-1 before half-time.
Flamengo were given a golden chance to get back into it after the break as Michael Olise handled the ball in the area before Jorginho converted, but in the end quality showed true as Kane punished a sloppy loss of possession to rifle home and put the tie out of reach, booking a last-eight tie against the European champions in the process.

Lionel Messi was overwhelmed by his former employers as Paris Saint-Germain stormed to a 4-0 thrashing of Inter Miami to send the last remaining American team out of the Club World Cup.
With Messi facing the team where he spent two seasons before moving to the MLS in the twilight of his stellar career, the European champions quickly erased the Miami’s hopes of pulling off a monumental upset before a crowd of 65,574 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

An intriguing game for the neutral overall, with Bayern dominating at times, and despite letting Flamengo back into it, the Bavarians get a deserved win.
Some aspects of the performance will worry Kompany, especially with PSG up next, but the attacking display was encouraging – and Harry Kane provided a reminder of his class.

So close to a fifth!
A lovely run from Sane and an even better ball from Kimmich, threaded between the defenders for his German teammate, but Sane can’t squeeze the finish past Rossi when 1-v-1.
