Bayern Munich’s heaviest supporters were up in arms prior to their club’s 4-1 meltdown against Stuttgart after the club announced that marine blue shorts would be a part of their 2018/19 home kit a week prior.

Bayern’s famous rivals 1860 Munich famously wear blue, and their ultras were quick to put their anger on display.

Despite preparing to celebrate their club’s sixth-straight domestic title, fans unveiled a banner which read “Our colours are red and white what’s this blue —?”

In case you were wondering where 1860 Munich are nowadays… they were relegated to Germany’s fourth division at the end of the 2016/17 season after relegation from the second division. Their owner would not pay the necessary fees to acquire a 3. Liga license and were sent down to the Regionalliga. They have a chance to go up to the 3. Liga through the promotion play-offs when they take on 1. FC Saarbrücken.
