Sandro Wagner is on the verge of leaving Bayern Munich for the Chinese Super League.
According to reports in the German media, the striker is wanted by Tianjin Teda and is being offered a mouth-watering salary.
Bild write that Wagner could earn €15m in just two years if he agrees to a deal.
The report says Wagner is close to completing the move, which would see him play under German manager Uli Stielike.
Wagner, 31, joined Bayern just one year ago but has struggled for minutes as Robert Lewandowski’s backup.
The striker scored eight Bundesliga goals for Bayern in just 722 minutes under Jupp Heynckes last season but has failed to impress new boss Niko Kovac.
Wagner has made just one league start and played a total of 140 minutes in the current Bundesliga campaign.
According to Bild, Tianjin are willing to pay Bayern a fee of around €5m for the striker but there are some doubts that Bayern would acceptable a deal.
The transfer window shuts on Thursday for European clubs, leaving little time to find a replacement.
