A headline member of the attacking ranks at Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich has emerged as a sudden doubt for the club’s impending showdown with Real Madrid.

As much was announced by Bayern head coach Thomas Tuchel on Saturday afternoon.

The Bavarians are fresh off a fourth successive victory across all competitions, thanking a Harry Kane brace for an eventual 2-1 downing of Eintracht Frankfurt.

Their latest three-point haul, however, came sans the contributions of an absolutely pivotal player, in Jamal Musiala.

Midfielder/attacker Musiala was originally called up to Bayern’s matchday squad to face Eintracht, but was a late scratch on Saturday afternoon.

Boss Thomas Tuchel, in turn, went on to reveal that the 21-year-old is suffering with a ‘tendon irritation’, therefore forced to sit out.

The hope is that Musiala will be back in time to face Real Madrid on Tuesday, but his status, as of yet, cannot be confirmed:

“He can’t play. He wanted to, we really wanted him to. He had two days without pain and felt it again yesterday. It’s a tendon irritation that is really hindering him. He had to stop training yesterday, now we’re giving it our all for Tuesday.”
