Following their German Supercup defeat to Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich could have done with a little confidence-booster before the season starts.
They got just that on Thursday evening when they took on local amateur side Rottach-Egern, a tradition for the Bavarian club.

Niko Kovač’s side scored 23 unanswered goals over the course of the contest.
Corentin Tolisso was the star of the show by scoring four, although four players also chipped in with hat-tricks.
Robert Lewandowski hit three, as did Thomas Müller, Kwasi Okyere Wriedt and Leon Goretzka.
There will have been quite the fight over the match ball then afterwards surely!
