The German club announced the news via a post on their official club website this morning.
The 26-year-old joins Bayern Munich after leaving former club Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this summer. She has signed a two-year deal at the FC Bayern Campus.
Zigiotti joined former club Brighton & Hove Albion in Janaury 2022. She went on to make 51 appearances for the Sussex club in the Barclays Women’s Super League in which she scored four goals. The Swedish international captained the team during her time with The Seagulls.
After joining latest club Bayern Munich, Zigiotti said “For me, signing with FC Bayern is a big dream come true. The club has been one of the largest and most historic clubs in the world for decades. Many players have told me that FC Bayern is like a big family.
“I would like to help the team continue to write its success story, win titles and get as far as possible in the Champions League. My goal is to support the team with my strengths. I always give 100 percent on the pitch and work on getting better every day.
“I’m really looking forward to being part of the FC Bayern family.”
