At just 20 years old, Singh developed himself into a regular starter for the A-League side, scoring five goals and adding seven assists in 25 appearances (22 starts).

Although he is consistently in the New Zealand U-20 squad, Singh made his senior-team debut in March 2018 and has earned four caps for the Kiwis.

Though Singh will likely start with the Bayern reserves, it would arguably be the biggest signing out of New Zealand since Wynton Rufer joined Werder Bremen in 1989, one season after they won the Bundesliga.

Singh would become the first Kiwi to sign for Bayern Munich in the club’s history.
