Bayern Munich welcomed defenders Niklas Süle and Josip Stanisic back to team training on Thursday.

The pair have been missing for the previous two weeks recovering after testing positive for COVID but left quarantine on Monday before returning to outfield running on Wednesday.

Head coach Julian Nagelsmann oversaw Süle and Stanisic’s inclusion in training at Säbener Straße which puts them back in contention for the visit of Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday.

There’s more good news ahead of the weekend for Nagelsmann as according to BILD Marcel Sabitzer could also be back in action.

The 27-year-old also completed training on Thursday after missing the win over Dynamo Kyiv on Tuesday through injury.
