Bayern Munich have made a big money contract offer to Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram, although Inter and Atletico Madrid are not yet out of the race for his signature.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the German champions have offered Thuram a five-year deal worth €6 million net per season for next summer, whilst Inter and Atletico would not go beyond €4 million net per season.

The race to sign Thuram is starting to take shape, as the Frenchman is set to leave Gladbach at the end of the season on a free transfer.

The 25-year-old is in no hurry and will evaluate his options for next summer when his deal with Gladbach expires.

Bayern are keen, and have made their official offer to his representatives, a significant offer worth €6 million net per season.

The Nerazzurri and the Colchoneros would not be able to match this offer financially.

However, Thuram has hardly made his decision yet, and will consider all factors rather than just the size of the contract offers, so no teams are out of the running yet.

Meanwhile, Premier Legaue duo Aston Villa and Newcastle United are also eyeing up a move for Thuram.
