Bayern Munich took on Stuttgart in a convincing 4-0 win on Saturday, but one man only lasted 8 minutes on the pitch, and will seemingly miss the upcoming clash against Barcelona in the Champions League.
The man in question is Aleksandar Pavlović, who seemingly has injured his collarbone, as he was replaced in the opening ten minutes by João Palhinha.
Pavlović could be a big miss for Bayern when they travel to Catalonia to take on Barcelona, as he has started six matches for the German side so far this season, with a Man of the Match performance against last year’s champions Bayer Leverkusen.
With his collarbone injury potentially being a break or a fracture, Pavlović could possibly spend a fair amount of time sidelined as he recovers.
Barcelona aren’t free of their own injury concerns in midfield however, as Frenkie de Jong could possibly be missing for Hansi Flick’s side in the centre of the park.
Barcelona have a tie against Sevilla to focus on before they can turn their attention to the midweek clash, but they will likely have one eye on Bayern Munich regardless.
