Bayern Munich will not pursue a permanent deal for Real Madrid right-back Álvaro Odriozola, according to Sport1.
The 24-year-old joined the club on loan until the end of June during the January transfer window.
It’s not yet clear whether Odriozola will remain at the Allianz Arena longer than June 30 to complete the Bundesliga season, depending on the resumption of the campaign.
However, it is reportedly unlikely that Odriozola will be seen in a Bayern shirt in the 2020/21 season.
Odriozola’s future is in doubt as the report also states that he is not in Zinedine Zidane’s plans for the future if he does return to the Santiago Bernabéu.
The former Real Sociedad defender arrived in Madrid in July 2018 for a fee of around €30m.
He has made just two appearances during his spell in Bavaria.
