Bayern Munich are gearing up for a busy 2025, as they prepare themselves for the potential loss of multiple star players.
Joshua Kimmich and Alphonso Davies, in particular, have emerged as players who may leave the Allianz Arena at the end of the season, as both their contracts expire in 2025.
While Kimmich could be of potential interest to Barcelona, Davies has been highly linked with a move to Real Madrid next season.
But in an interesting development, it appears Barcelona could be linked to Davies’ move as well, in some form at least.
That is because Bayern Munich have identified Barça’s Alejandro Balde as the ideal replacement for the Canadian, should he leave Allianz Arena next summer.

According to Fichajes, Bayern Munich are open to spending a large sum on Balde if they fail to keep hold of Davies.
The Bavarians have been highly impressed with the performances of Balde, who has shown exceptional maturity and talent despite his early age.
Balde has been a key operator at left-back for Barça this season, offering pace and width out wide. His athleticism, on the other hand, have helped him cover up defensively.
This makes him an excellent option for Bayern, who are looking for a similar profile as Davies.
However, acquiring the services of Balde could be far from straightforward. The player has a long-term contract at Barcelona and given his performances, the club are likely to slap a hefty price tag on the player.
That said, the Catalans may not outrightly rule out the sale of Balde, knowing he could fetch a lucrative fee in the market, which, in turn, could go a long way in solving the club’s financial woes.
