Bayern Munich enquire about Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk after Saudi Arabia make huge offer | OneFootball

According to Sports Zone, Bayern Munich have enquired about the availability of Liverpool centre-back Virgil Van Dijk (32) in recent days, whilst the Netherlands international also possesses an offer from a Saudi Arabian club.

With Jürgen Klopp leaving Liverpool this summer, the future of club captain Van Dijk has also been called into question. The former Southampton centre-back, in the wake of Klopp’s departure announcement, seemed non-commital about his future at Anfield.

“I don’t know,” responded Van Dijk, when asked about his role in the new era at Liverpool, however, he has since clarified those comments, stating that they were taken out of context. Sports Zone understands that Van Dijk’s desire is to remain with the Merseyside club this summer, however, he is not “inflexible”, reports the French publication.

Van Dijk already possesses one “fantastic” offer from Saudi club Al-Qadisiah, who next season will compete in the top-flight, whilst in recent days, Bayern Munich have also made enquiries, without yet making any concrete steps towards signing the Dutchman.
