Bayern Munich will be without Josip Stanišić for their upcoming run of fixtures.

The Croatian, who recently had to quarantine after contracting coronavirus, has been ruled out for the foreseeable future with a ruptured thigh muscle.

Stanišić broke into the Bayern first team early this season in the absence of Benjamin Pavard.

The 21-year-old has featured in eight Bundesliga games, four from the start, but will now miss Saturday’s trip to Dortmund, next week’s clash with Barcelona, and possibly Bayern’s remaining two fixtures before the winter break.
