Bayern Munich could cause damage to both Inter and Ivan Perisic by sending him on holiday according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Croatian national team player joined the recently crowned Bundesliga champions on a season long loan this past Summer and as part of the deal, Bayern Munich secured an option to buy him outright for €20 million.

The option has however now expired after Bayern Munich deemed it too high and the clubs reportedly agreed to hold talks over the former Borussia Dortmund player’s future at a later date.

The report from the Milan based news outlet claims that the fact the Bavarians could send him on holiday given the Bundesliga season is finished this weekend could damage things.

Whilst on loan at the Allianz Arena club, the 31-year-old has made 29 appearances across all competitions to date in which he has scored six goals and tallied eight assists.
