Bayern Munich have confirmed their intention to place a bid for RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano.
The centre-back is one of the highest rated players in his age group, and is very likely to move in the summer transfer window.
He will have a buyout clause that teams can meet, which means any club that convinces the player should be able to nab his signature.
Speaking on Bild Live, Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said Upamecano was a prime target for the club.
He said: "We will of course deal with it, not only with this player, but in principle on the positions where we want to do and have to do something.,"
"In the time of Corona, the money situation is also an important factor."
Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are also interested in Upamecano.
